FAQ

do I need to get in early to reserve my project ?

The seasonality imposed by the ski resorts in our sector reduces the available time slots and presents a real challenge. Access restrictions, bans on work and noise…

Projects are therefore validated and slots booked as far in advance as possible.

what if I can't be there ?

Don’t worry, the majority of our projects are carried out remotely, and we’ve mastered the logistics perfectly. All you need to do is provide access to your local contact (estate agency, code box or other) so that we can carry out the technical visit with an on-site video call between us.

if I can't come for the end of works inspection ?

As before, this is not a problem. Everything can be done remotely with video calls.

We’ve even had a few projects here in Savoie where we’ve never physically met our customers !

will my project be finished by the deadline ?

The constraints imposed by our geographical area and the tourist industry here mean that we have to adopt a rigorous, optimised approach. If we receive requests after our annual schedule has been finalised, we will offer a slot in one of the following 2 years, depending on availability.

It is imperative to respect the delivery deadlines for each project. Being late is not an option, as the stakes are high – snow and skiing can’t wait !

how long does it take to get my quote ?

Once the ¨conception and design¨ stages have been completed, from 3 weeks depending on the size of the project and the fluidity of communications between us.

why is the budget so important ?

The budget is a key point in the conception and design of a time-consuming project.
Having this information allows us to work together in the same direction.
We can, for example, orientate the choice of materials and equipment to best fit your budget.

An example: which manufacturer of household appliances would you like: Siemens, Miele, or Gaggenau ?

Giving us your budget saves a considerable amount of time and work on your project.

The bonus, when you receive your quotation, there are no nasty surprises because the budget was pre-defined.

but I don't have a budget

Does this mean that your budget is unlimited?..with a few exceptions, the most common answer is no. In our experience, clients usually have an idea of how much they wish to spend.

Sharing this information allows us to work together on a basis of mutual trust and avoids us proposing a dream project with a pricetag that is more than you have accounted for.

do I need to allow for any extras in addition to the signed estimate ?

Our projects are well designed and calculated. When we invoice you for the balance, there are no surprise extras.*

Of course, we remain flexible if you have any additional requests during the course of the project, for which we will provide a quote.

*If we discover hidden problems, for example water damage, we will communicate with you to provide a solution and costs to undertake repairs
